after going to four tai shows in a week, and learning that a few random people i know via the interweb have/are planning to do even more than that for other bands, i am convincing myself that i want to do more next time. one person has been hitting up every brand new show since september and is continuing through next month, and another is going to be following cobra starship's entire winter tour. i can't decide if i wish i was less crazy so that i wouldn't seriously be considering something like this, or if it was actually more doable. i honestly think i could afford to do 10-20 shows on a tour if i had someone to split gas, hotel, and tolls with, but i have nobody. my friends have work and school that they can't take off from so i'm just left feeling disappointed and pathetic even more the idea took any shape of reality. i know a lot of the negatives in what i was thinking, that there are far better things to spend my money on, far better ways to spend my time, etc. but if other people do it why can't i? it'd only be one tour, a few weeks of my life full of incredible experiences, and i honestly think the trouble it'd cost would be worth it in the end to have those memories.
